Message’s From
Commissioner, Nidhi Pandey, IIS
Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the entire teaching community on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2024!
Today, as we celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan extends its deepest gratitude and respect to all educators.

Deputy Commissioner
During India's freedom struggle, the country's great poet Subramanya Bharati said that three things are necessary to achieve freedom in the true sense. The first is education; The second is education; And the third one is education. Thousands of years of tradition and culture of India, from Nalanda and Takshashila to the present educational system, have always accepted education as a tool by which man makes himself social, civilized and humane. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is the torchbearer of this dense tradition of India, which has been successfully carrying out the responsible task of building the new generation of the country with the educational innovations of the modern era while assimilating the age-old traditions in the field of education. The countless teachers who give meaning to this penance of making the foundation of the country strong and consistent are the pride and glory of the organization. Even the teacher is blind and the disciple is pure and blind. Andhai Ankou Thaliya, Doyun Koop Parant. Let us consider this Kabir Vani as a warning and move forward on the path of duty, so that there is all-round development of our students and progressive progress of the country and society.

"The highest education is that which does not merely give us information, but makes our life in harmony with all existence”- Rabindranath Tagore. The purpose of education is to impart an understanding and awareness of self and Nature. Nature is omnipresent and we constantly witness change in everything and everywhere in its evolutionary process. At present, mankind has reached an understanding of the scientific process of evolution of universe, understanding of Nature and its intrinsic link with mankind. This is the period when true and holistic education is possible, enabling mankind to understand many secrets of life. As a result of holistic education, everyone’s production and services go to all people of society as everyone enjoys the benefits of labour and technical knowledge of all people of the society. Through holistic education, each person should know himself as completely as possible, i.e. his body, mind, knowledge, consciousness, genetic centre, brain function including the process of storing and releasing all the experiences of life. Education, in the science of living, should begin with the basics: understanding the human physiology, growth and development, the importance of personal hygiene, reproductive health, physical and mental every use, conservation and potential, prevention of disease, healthy eating habits, simple first-aid and self-medication with home remedies. The next level would be learning about the importance and value of one’s relationships- with parents, teachers, friends and fellow beings. The concepts of morality, ethics, duty, honesty, sincerity, kindness and compassion should be imparted. Each person should know how to adjust with others and be prepared to sacrifice his whims and pleasures for the benefit of the group or family so as to avoid conflict and live in harmony. As the ultimate knowledge, one would also know the supreme principle, unified force, universal magnetism and its quality and power which have brought forth and sustain the whole universe and its constant connect to bio- magnetism of every being. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan , being a pace setting and brand established organisation in the field of education ,envisions itself a world class organisation in school education committed to continually empowering teachers to actualise inside out synergy in students and enable them to fulfil futuristic societal, national, global needs and aspirations. Kendriya Vidyalayas are dedicated to continually work on to produce champions of change by bringing out a deep, positive, productive, constructive and innovative impact in the minds of students to develop a peaceful and harmonious society.
